	The Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation’s mission is to eradicate breast cancer and improve the quality of women's health through innovative research, education, and advocacy. The Foundation, thanks to a grant from the Avon Foundation for Women, launched the Love/Avon Army of Women initiative in October 2008, with the goal of recruiting one million women who are willing to participate in research that focuses on the causes of breast cancer and how to prevent it.
